244001588 - E2010 SIDE LIGHTS/NUMBER PLATE LIGHT OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Operational Description
Power supply from ignition switch H001 reaches the battery via fuse F3, located in engine bay junction unit B001. When ignition switch H001 is turned to STAZ position, stalk unit H005 is supplied via connector B pin 5. The side light activation signal is activated when stalk H005 is switched to short-circuit the circuit of connector B of the stalk unit across pins 5 and 6. This signal enters short-circuiting junction D097B pin 8 and emerges from the same junction via pin 9. Under-facia control unit B002 receives power at pin 8 of connector C and sends, via fuse F37, a signal from pin 1 connector B to pin 2 connector B of ignition switch H001. Ignition switch H001 supplies, from pin 3 of connector B, underfacia control unit B002, at pin 2 of connector B. Short-circuit junction D097A distributes power to front lights F010 and F011 and tail-lights F030 and F031, via pins 2, 3, 5, and 6. This line is protected by fuses F12 and F13, located in under-facia control unit B002.Short-circuit junction D097C distributes power to number plate lights F050 and F051 and controls activation of an indicator light on instrument panel E050 at pin 9 connector B. This line is protected by fuse F24 located in the underfacia junction unit.
