Operational Description

The Cruise Control activation command is issued by device H007, which communicates with engine management unit M010 from pins 3, 4, 7, 8 and with ABS control unit M060, from pins 11 and 12. Device H007 receives a signal from brake pedal switch I030 at pin 2; the same signal is also downloaded from engine management unit M010. This strategy is adopted to deactivate the Cruise Control system as soon as the brake pedal is pressed.Device H007 receives a left side light activated signal from control panel H090 - pin 12 connector C - at pin 5.The Cruise Control activation warning light is located in instrument panel E050. This smart warning light is ignition-operated - pin 12 connector D of E050 - and comes on when engine management unit M010 supplies an earth signal - pin 23 connector A-.The following fuses are located in under-facia junction unit B002.

• F24: side light activation supply protection;
• F27: ignition-operated supply protection for brake pedal switch I030;
• F37: ignition-operated protection for Cruise Control warning light, located in instrument panel E050
