Operational Description
Air Bag M060 consists of two connectgors, A and B, with the following pin-outs:Connector A:pin 1: connection to earth C050 connector A;pin 5: connection with Connect M120 front panel for vehicle speed signal;pin 6: connection to tester input;pin 7: control of passenger air bag deactivation warning light on instrument panel E050 - pin 17 connector E -: when pins 10 and 11 of control unit M060 receives an air bag deactivation control from switch H075, the unit turns on the relevant warning light by supplying it with power;pin 8: control of air bag failure warning light on instrument panel E050 - pin 8 connector B -: the warning light is ignition-operated by a line protected by fuse F37 - housed in under-facia control unit B002 - and is turned on only if control unit M060 supplies an earth signal;pins 10 and 11: connection to passenger air bag deactivation switch H075;pin 12: ignition-operated power supply protected by fuse F50 located in underfacia control unit B002;pin 17, 18: connection to passenger air bag (central) Q013;pin 21, 22: connection to passenger air bag (exteranl) Q012;pin 23, 24: connection to driver''s air bag Q009.Connector B:pin 1, 2: connection to driver side front seat belt pretensioner Q020;pin 3, 4: connection to passenger side front seat belt pretensioner Q021;pin 5, 6: connection to central front seat belt pretensioner Q019 (if pretensioner fitted) or driver''s side bag Q030 (if side bag fitted);pin 9, 10: connection to passenger side bag Q031;pin 17, 32: connection to earth C050 connector B;pin 24, 26: connection to sensor for driver''s side bag, K066;pin 25, 27: connection to sensor for passenger side bag, K067.
