The LPG is sent to the injectors via two sections of pipe: the first section (1) starting from the pump to the intermediate connector in the engine compartment consists of a rigid copper coated pipe (4 mm internal diameter, 6 mm external diameter) whilst the second section (2) from the intermediate connector to the injector bodies consists of a flexible steel pipe (8 mm internal diameter). The LPG is then sent from the injectors to the individual intake ducts via specific connectors (3); each connector comprises an internal pipe (1.5 mm internal diameter) for transferring the liquid LPG from the injector to the inlet in the intake manifold and, from an outside rubber pipe with the function of protecting and insulating the internal pipe. The LPG return line to the tank is made up of two sections of pipe: the first section goes from the injector bodies to the intermediate connector in the engine compartment and consists of a flexible steel pipe (4), whilst the second section from the intermediate connector to the pump consists of a rigid copper coated pipe (5).When the pipes are correctly positioned this ensures the optimum operation of the system especially as far as problems relating to the exchange of heat between the components located in the engine compartment and the actual pipes are concerned.
