312000774 - S026 REAR NOISE (CREAKING/SQUEAKING/TICKING)

Whilst driving, especially on unmade roads, a creaking noise comes from the rear suspension. This diagnosis can only be made after    See table S015 NOISE WHILST DRIVINGCarry out the latter first.
If the problem is only on one side, carry out the checks and any operations on the appropriate side only.

Having carried out the road test, during the    See table S015 NOISE WHILST DRIVING, there was a creaking noise from the rear.Continue depending on the circumstances in which the noise occurs.End of diagnosis1. The noise occurs especially on unmade roads uphill, during acceleration or braking.2. The noise also occurs on smooth, undulating roads.1. Move on to Step 12. Move on to Step 4
