Removing ( Refitting )
Before removing and refitting the Air Bag module, carry out the following preliminary operations.Position the vehicle with the front wheels straight.Turn the ignition key to the STOP position and extract it.Disconnect the battery terminals and insulate them.Wait for 10 minutes before continuing.
FOLLOW ALL THE RECOMMENDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
    Op. 5580C AIR BAG SYSTEM     Op. 7045A10 FRONT SEAT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7045B10 FRONT SEAT HEAD RESTRAINT, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. 1. Prise up trim base (1a) and undo backrest cushion cover clips (1b).2. Cut the backrest cushion cover retaining rings.
1. Unhook the retaining bands from the side air bag.
- Lift the cover until the adjustable head restraint bushes are accessible. 1. Press the tooth of retaining bushes (1a), and remove both bushes (1b) by pushing them towards the other one.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check the condition of the guide bushes.- Fit the guide bushes in the correct seats on the backrest frame and cover, then push them until securely in position.
Check the guide bushes are still in place.
- Hook the retaining bands on the side air bag.- Fit the cover and using a suitable clamp, crimp the new clamps at the point where the cover and padding meet.

- Fasten the cover handles.- Mould the cover over the padding making sure that the fabric is taut and not torn.    Op. 7045B10 FRONT SEAT HEAD RESTRAINT, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7045A10 FRONT SEAT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. - Connect the battery terminals.
