STEP	CHECK TO BE PERFORMED	REMEDIAL ACTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1	Rear ultrasound sensor power supply check Turn the key to the MAR position Engage reverse gear Connect the voltmeter with the positive probe at pin 1 and the negative to earth and check that there is a positive voltage of 12 V Move on to Step 2	Restore the wiring between the parking sensor control unit and the sensor concerned. If the power supply is present, replace the sensor. If the supply is interrupted at the control unit outlet, replace the parking sensor control unit    Op. 5580H10 PARKING OBSTACLE DETECTION DEVICE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT - R.R.
2	Earth check Connect the voltmeter with the red probe at pin 3 and the positive probe earthed, and check that the voltage is between 0 and 1 Volt. Move on to Step 3	Restore the broken wiring between the control unit and the sensor involved. Replace the parking sensor control unit    Op. 5580H10 PARKING OBSTACLE DETECTION DEVICE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT - R.R.
3	Ultrasound signal check Turn the key to the ON position Connect the voltmeter with the positive probe to pin 2 and the negative probe earthed Press the START button on the Examiner. The figures in the image that appears must be evaluated with a tolerance of about 20%. They should in any case be similar to the graph in the diagram.	Replace the faulty sensor(s) Replace the parking sensor control unit    Op. 5580H10 PARKING OBSTACLE DETECTION DEVICE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT - R.R.
