FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The switching on of the front courtesy light G010 is managed by the Body Computer M001 which receives negative "door open" input signals respectively:

  • at pin 54 of connector B (driver''s front door, via the internal contact at the geared motor N050 - pin 5 -);
  • at pin 53 of connector B (passenger front door, via the internal contact at the geared motor N051 - pin 5 -).
The front courtesy light G010 receives a power supply (pin 2) via the line protected by fuse F32 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 13 of connector F).The Body Computer supplies the other courtesy lights in the vehicle from pins 26 and 28 of connector F.    See E2520 GLOVE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - SUN VISOR LIGHTThe front courtesy light G010 is connected, via pin 1, to the left front erath C010 and, via pin 3, to pin 9 of connector F of the Body Computer M001, which provides a suitable negative signal for the timed/dimmed switching on/off.On versions without central locking the courtesy light is activated when the driver''s door is opened: when the N.A. contact for the switch on the door I016 is closed, pin 3 of the courtesy light G010 is connected directly to the left front earth C010. There is no timer delay on this version.The Body Computer M001 receives a direct battery power supply (pin 1 of connector A) protected by fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 18 of connector B); it also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E.The Body Computer M001 is also connected to the driver''s dashboard earth C015 via pins 9 and 10 of connector E.
