The Convergence control unit M162 receives a supply, at pin 16 of connector A, directly from the battery via the line protected by fuse F36 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 19 of connector E).The control unit M162 receives an ignition-controlled supply (INT) at pin 32 of connector A via the line for fuse F51 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 5 of connector E).Pin 15 of connector A of M162 is connected to the left rear earth C030.The Convergence control unit M162 (pins 14 and 30 of connector A) is connected, via the B-CAN, to the radio P020 (pins A3 and A1 of connector A), to the Body Computer M001 (pins 37 and 52 of connector F), to the instrument panel E050 (pins 5 and 6) and to the other system nodes.The Convergence control unit M162 is connected, via pins 1 and 2 of connector B, in the C-CAN, to the Body Computer M001 (pins 24 and 26 of connector D) and the other nodes receiving the vehicle dynamic signals (reversing, vehicle speed, etc.). See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES The control unit M162 is connected, via pins 5, 22 and 21, with the radio P020 (pins 1, 2 and 3 of connector B) to manage the signals for the reproduction of the contents for the multimedia player function: AUX left, AUX right and AUX earth signals respectively.The Media Player USB socket P143 is connected to the Convergence control unit M162 (pins 3, 4, 19, 20 and 31of connector A) respectively, with signals: signal D+, reference earth, signal D-, 5V power supply and shielding.The hands-free microphone P026, located near the front courtesy light, is connected to pin 8 of connector A of M162, whilst pin 24 is prepared for the cable screening.The convergence control panel H136, located near the front courtesy light, receives (pin 6) an ignition-controlled power supply for activating its backlighting. See E2530 INSTRUMENT LIGHTING The panel H136 is connected to the Convergence control unit M162. Specifically:
at pin 2 it receives a reference earth from pin 11 of connector A;
from pin 1 it sends an analogue signal for the buttons pressed (via the resistive divider) to pin 28 of connector A;
at pin 4 it receives a positive signal for lighting up the LED signalling that the control is activated from pin 12 of the same connector.
Connectors C (GSM) and D (GPS) of the Convergence control unit M162 are connected, by dedicated coaxial cables, to the aerial P110 which, on this version, includes the radio aerial function. See E3510 RADIO The Body Computer M001 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via the clock spring D047: Specifically:
at pin 6 of D047 the reference earth signal from pin 35 of connector D of M001 is received;
the signal is sent, from pin 4 of D047, for the MUTE/ESC, WINDOWS logo, VOL+ and VOL- controls (located to the left of the steering wheel) to pin 50 of connector D of M001;
the signal is sent, from pin 3 of D047, for the SOURCE/OK, TEL/MAIN, SCAN+ and SCAN- controls (located to the right of the steering wheel) to pin 52 of connector D of M001;
The Body Computer M001 receives a direct battery power supply (pin 1 of connector A) protected by fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 18 of connector B); it also receives an ignition-controlled supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E.The Body Computer M001 is also connected to the driver''s dashboard earch C015 via pins 9 and 10 of connector E.
