Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

FRONT BUMPER 1. Undo bolt (1a) and disconnect pipe (1b), compressor side.

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

1. Open retaining clips (1a) and release pipe (1b). 1. Undo bolt (1a) and disconnect pipe (1b), condenser side.

- Remove the pipe from the housing. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the pipe is not damaged; if it is, replace it.- Replace the o-ring seals for the connectors using seals that are resistant to R134A refrigerant fluid.

Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

1. Connect pipe (1a), condenser side, and tighten bolts (1a) on mounting bracket (1c) to the recommended torque.

- Secure the pipe to the retaining clips. 1. Connect hose (1a), compressor side, and tighten bolts (1a) to the recommended torque.
