0PRELIMINARY CHECKSAll OKProblems encounteredOperation
Turn the key ON and check that the initial check on the MIL and VEHICLE PROTECTION warning lights takes place
The MIL warning light should come on and then go out when the engine is started up, whilst the CODE warning light should come on for about 4 seconds and then go out

Then check:

  • that the FUEL CUT OFF activated message is not present in the instrument panel
  • presence of fuel in the tank;
  • air intake circuit;
  • correct operation of the exhaust manifolds.
Move on to Step 11. The VEHICLE PROTECTION warning light stays on2. The MIL warning light does not carry out the initial test3. Presence of FUEL CUT OFF activated message4. Lack of fuel5. Filter dirty or partly blocked6. Exhaust blocked1. Continue following the instructions in the TableSee K052 ENGINE OIL LEVEL AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR2. Continue following the instructions in the TableSee K053 LPG PRESSURE SENSOR3. Carry out theSee Test 4. Add fuel to the tank5. Replace the filter element    Op. 1044B10 FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY - R + R OR REPLACE 6. Restore exhaust manifolds to working order
