The parking sensor control unit M084 receives a power supply, at pin 1 of connector A, from the ignition-controlled line (INT) protected by fuse F49 located in the Body Computer (pin 14 of connector F). Pin 8 of connector A of M084 is connected to the right rear earth C031.The Body Computer M001 receives a direct battery power supply (pin 1 of connector A) protected by fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 18 of connector B); it also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E.The Body Computer M001 is also connected to the driver''s dashboard earth C015 via pins 9 and 10 of connector E.The control unit M084 is connected, from pins 7 and 14 of connector A, via the B-CAN, to the Body Computer M001 (pins 34 and 49 of connector F) from where it receives information that reverse gear is engaged, received, in turn, via the C-CAN (pins 44 and 45 of connector B) from the engine management control unit M010. See E2022 REVERSING LIGHTS At pin 5 of connector A the parking sensor control unit M084 receives any input relating to the presence of a trailer, an input which disables the function.Having received information that reverse gear is engaged, the parking sensor control unit M084 activates the parking sensors and communicates the information, via the B-CAN, relating to the activation of the buzzer incorporated in the instrument panel E050.The four parking sensors K097 (pin 2) send a signal to connector B of the control unit M084: pins 5, 3, 2 and 4 are, in effect, connected to sensors K097A (left outer), K097B (left inner), K097C (right inner) and K097D (right outer) respectively. The sensors receive a power supply (pin 1) respectively from pin 12 of connector B of control unit M084 and a reference earth (pin 3) from pin 1 of the same connector.Any faults are signalled, via the B-CAN, through the general failure" warning light in the instrument panel E050.
