Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R     Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R 1. Shut off the brake fluid reservoir using the special tool.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the braking system control unit.

2. Undo the connector for the rigid pipe, braking system control unit side.

The rigid pipe illustrated with the reference (3) is for the left rear wheel hydraulic braking system.

1. Undo the retaining bolts (1a) and remove the pipe guard (1b). - Release the rigid pipe from the retaining clips. 1. Undo the connector (1a) and separate the rigid pipe (1b) from the intermediate rigid pipe (1c). - Remove the rigid pipe from its housing, releasing it from the retaining clips. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the flexible pipe is not damaged. If it is not intact, replace it.- Place the rigid pipe in position and secure it to the retaining clips. 1. Connect the rigid pipe (1a) to the intermediate rigid pipe (1b) and tighten the connector (1c) to the recommended torque.

- Secure the rigid pipe to the retaining clips.- Position the pipe guard and tighten the fixing bolts. 1. Connect the electrical connection for the braking system control unit.

2. Tighten the connector (2a), braking system control unit side, for the right rigid pipe (2b) to the recommended torque.
