- Position the single camshaft housing in a vice. 1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and separate the pressure pump (1b) and the vacuum unit (1c) from the camshaft housing.

1. Using the counter-torque tool (1a) and a spanner, undo the bolts (1b) fixing the camshafts.

1. Remove the camshaft gears.2. Remove the camshafts from the camshaft housing.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Fit the camshaft gears in place in the cylinder head.- Fit the camshafts in place in the cylinder head. 1. Using the counter-torque tool (1a) and a torque wrench, tighten the bolts (1b) fixing the camshafts to the recommended torque.

- Fit the pressure pump and the vacuum unit and tighten the fixing bolts on the camshaft housing.- Remove the single camshaft housing from the vice. 1. Fit the timing templates in the cylinder head.

Fit the tool and position with its millings horizontal. Ensure it fits into the seat on the camshaft.
