1. Open the band retaining the injector wiring2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and move the injector wiring (2b) aside.

1. Remove the plug and insert the template in its place in the exhaust side camshaft.

Fit the tool and position with its millings horizontal. Ensure it fits into the seat on the camshaft.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the timing cover (1b) complete with engine oil intake and oil seal.2. Remove the oil seal working at the bench.

1. Working at the bench, undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the engine oil intake (1b) from the timing cover.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Fit the engine oil intake in place on the timing cover and tighten the fixing bolts. 1. Fit the timing cover in place and tighten the fixing bolts to the recommended torque following the order illustrated.

- Fit a new oil seal using the special tool.
