Removing ( Refitting ) - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

1. Undo and remove the Lambda sensor on the catalytic converter. Refitting ( Removing )

If the Lambda sensor is being replaced, the self-learning procedure must be carried out using the diagnostic equipment.This procedure is designed to guarantee the correct operation of the engine strategy and consequently the correct updating of the self-adjustment parameters.In order to carry out this procedure it is necessary to:- connect the diagnostic equipment;- with the engine off, turn the ignition key to the ON position;- follow the instructions given by the diagnostic equipment for this procedure;- at the end of the operation, turn the ignition key OFF and wait until the data is memorized.

1. Screw in the Lambda sensor on the catalytic converter and tighten it to the recommended torque.
