Power supply check

• Turn the ignition key to the MAR position
• Connect the positive probe of an Examiner in Voltmeter mode to terminal 3 of the sensor and the negative probe to terminal 1 of the sensor earth
• With the ignition on, check that the voltage measured is around 5 Volts,

Signal check

• Connect the positive probe of an Examiner in Voltmeter mode to terminal 2 of the sensor and the negative probe to terminal 1 of the sensor earth
• Start the engine and check for the presence of a voltage signal whose value is directly proportional to the fuel pressure as illustrated in the attached graph
