312002055 - 0010T40 CHANGE MANUAL GEARBOX OIL

Changing the manual gearbox oil is not a planned maintenance operation and is only carried out during removing-refitting operations that involve draining the gearbox oil.

- Position the vehicle on a lift. 1. Undo the gearbox casing filler plug. 1. Undo the gearbox casing drain plug and collect the fluid in a suitable container.

Collect the transmission fluid in a suitable container.

Do not let the oil disperse into the environment as indiscriminate dispersion of this product causes pollution.

- Clean the drain plug, put it back in its seat and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Refill the gearbox with the specified fluid through the filler hole.

- Check that the level of the oil just touches the lower edge of the filler opening.- Clean the filler plug, put back in its housing and tighten to the recommended torque.
