Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R. 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and move the coolant supply reservoir (1b) to one side.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel temperature sensor.

Seal the fuel pipes that are going to be disconnected to prevent fuel leaks.

2. Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel inlet pipe, fuel filter side.3. Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel outlet pipe from the filter to the pressure pump, fuelf filter side.4. Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel return pipe, fuel filter side.5. Undo the fixing nuts (5a) and remove the fuel filter collar (5b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the water presence sensor.

2. Separate the fuel filter from the retaining collar.3. Working at the bench, remove the water presence sensor.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Fit the water presence sensor in place on the fuel filter.2. Fit the retaining collar on the fuel filter.3. Connect the electrical connection for the water presence sensor.

- Place the fuel filter assembly in position. 1. Fit the collar (1a) fastening the fuel filter and tighten the fixing bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the rapid connector for the fuel return pipe, fuel filter side.3. Connect the rapid connector for the fuel supply pipe from the filter to the pressure pump, fuelf filter side.4. Connect the rapid connector for the fuel supply pipe, fuel filter side.5. Connect the electrical connection for the fuel temperature sensor.
