Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R     Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R 1. Detach the electrical connection from the air flow meter.

2. Loosen the collar and disconnect the air intake sleeve to the turbocharger, air flow meter side.
1. Remove air filter (1a) complete with air flow meter (1b), releasing it firstly from the pegs underneath and then from the rear fastening.
1. Disconnect the electrical connections (1a) and (1b) from the heater plugs control unit.

1. Open the securing band (1a) and disconnect the coolant pipe (1b) from the expansion tank.2. Disconnect the two rapid connectors for the fuel pipes from the filter.3. Disconnect the rapid connector for the coolant pipe from the thermostat unit.4. Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel pipe from the pressure pump.5. Disconnect the rapid connectors (5a) and (5b) from the fuel pipe.6. Undo the retaining bolts (6a) and remove the protective duct (6b) and pipes.
1. Release the electrical wiring (1a) from the band (1b).2. Loosen the band and disconnect the turbocharger air inlet hose, turbocharger side.3. Loosen the band securing the oil vapour hose between the rigid pipe and the turbo intake hose, turbo intake hose side.4. Disconnect the turbo intake hose and remove it.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine rpm sensor.

4. Disconnect the electrical connection from the cam angle sensor.

5. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air conditioning compressor engagement electromagnet.

6. Loosen the bolts securing the wiring duct to the cylinder head.7. Release the system cable loom (7a) from the fastenings (7b) and move it aside.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pressure regulator.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the electrical connection (1b) from the alternator.

2. Open the protective cover (2a), loosen the nut (2b) and disconnect the electrical connection (2c) from the starter motor.

- Release the system cable loom from the air capacity chamber fastening bands and remove it. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit the system cable loom in place and secure it to the bands on the air chamber.- Connect the electrical connection to the starter motor, tighten the nut and close the protective cover.

- Fit the cable loom in place and secure it.- Tighten the bolts securing the wiring duct to the cylinder head.- Connect the electrical connection to the air conditioning compressor engagement solenoid.

- Connect the electrical connections to the glow plug control unit.

- Fit the air intake hose to the turbocharger and connect it.- Tighten the collar securing the oil vapour hose between the rigid pipe and the turbo intake hose, turbo intake hose side.- Tighten the band securing the turbocharger air inlet hose, turbocharger side.- Secure the electrical wiring to the band.- Fit the protective duct in place plus the fuel pipes and tighten the fixing bolts.- Connect the rapid connectors for the fuel pipes in place on the pressure pump and on the filter and collection manifold.- Connect the connectors for the coolant pipe to the expansion tank and to the thermostat unit.- Fit the air filter with air flow meter in its seat.- Connect the air intake hose to the turbocharger, air flow meter side, and tighten the band.- Connect the electrical connection to the air flow meter.
