) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Raise the vehicle.1. Undo the DPF filter pressure sensor connector.2. Undo the bracket bolt.

1. Undo the exhaust gas temperature sensor connector.2. Undo the three self-locking nuts on the flange.

1. Remove the rubber mounting from the welded fastening pin on the bodyshell.

1. Lower the exhaust pipe and remove the metallic seal from the particulate filter.

1. Undo nut (1a) and loosen metallic band (1b).2. Undo bolt (2a), then remove exhaust pipe (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check the condition of the flexible section of the exhaust pipe.- Check the condition of the rubber mountings; replace them if they are ruined. These components serve as anti-vibration mounts. They are subjected to vibration and high temperatures; if they are worn they can break and therefore compromise the condition of the component.1. Fit the gasket between the particulate filter and the front section of the exhaust pipe.

- Fit the exhaust pipe, sliding it into the front section and securing the metallic band with the nut.- Tighten the nuts to the rear flange.- Position the flexible mounting on the welded pin.- Tighten the nuts securing the flange to the particulate filter.- Tighten to torque the nut securing the metallic band.

- Tighten the bracket bolt to torque.- Screw the pressure and temperature sensor connectors onto the exhaust pipe and tighten them to the recommended torque.- Lower the vehicle.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
