) - Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R. Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R Op. 5050B34 WINDSCREEN WIPER ARM/S COMPLETE WITH BLADE - R+R Op. 7210E22 R.R. WINDSCREEN BASE TRIM Op. 1048B44 RIGID AIR SUPPLY PIPE BETWEEN HEAT EXCHANGER AND INTAKE MANIFOLD - R.R. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the E.G.R. solenoid valve.

2. Open retaining band (2a) and disconnect the pipe between thermostat and heat exchanger (2b).

1. Open the protective cover and disconnect the electrical connection for the starter motor.

1. Disconnect the quick coupling for the water supply pipe to the heater.

1. Loosen the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the intake manifold.

1. Release rigid pipe (1a) from retaining band (1b).

1. Loosen the collar securing the exhaust gas/coolant heat exchanger for the EGR system, intake manifold side.2. Undo bolts (2a) and remove the E.G.R. valve assembly - heat exchanger - connecting pipes (2b).

- Position the E.G.R. valve/heat exchanger assembly and connecting pipes in a vice fitted with protective jaws. 1. Undo bolt (1a), loosen the band and remove coolant outlet pipe (1b) from the coolant/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the EGR system.2. Loosen the band and remove the coolant inlet pipe from the coolant/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the EGR system.3. Undo bolts (3a) and separate E.G.R. solenoid valve (3b) from exhaust gas/water heat exchanger for E.G.R. system (3c).4. Remove the gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Assemble the E.G.R. solenoid valve and the exhaust gas/water heat exchanger for the E.G.R. system after positioning the gasket and tighten the bolts.- Place the coolant inlet pipe to the coolant/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the EGR system in its housing and tighten the band.- Place the coolant outlet pipe to the coolant/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the EGR system in its housing and then secure it using the band and the bolt.- Remove the E.G.R. valve/heat exchanger assembly and connecting pipes from the vice. 1. Fit E.G.R. valve assembly - heat exchanger - connecting pipes (1a) in the housing and tighten bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the collar securing the exhaust gas/coolant heat exchanger for the EGR system, intake manifold side.

1. Tighten the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the intake manifold to the recommended torque.

- Secure the pipe to the retaining bands. 1. Connect the electrical connection for the starter motor and close the protective cover.

1. Connect the pipe between the thermostat and heat exchanger and secure it with a new retaining band.2. Connect the electrical connection for the E.G.R. solenoid valve.
