Removing ( Refitting ) - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.    Op. 7040A26 STEERING COLUMN TRIM - R+R     Op. 5580E08 AERIAL FOR ELECTRONIC KEY (CODE) - R.R - Insert the ignition key into the lock barrel and turn to MAR (first position) 1. Adjust retaining tooth (1a) and remove lock barrel complete with mount (1b). 1. Remove the retaining ring in the rear part of the switch barrel. 1. Press lever (1a) to insert the parking lights and turn the key to allow pin (1b) to position itself in the slot. 1. Partly extract the key from the barrel to allow lock (1a) to lower and pass through the slot, then remove key barrel (1b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the lock barrel for the key is not damaged.1. Insert the key in the barrel to the end of its travel. Partly remove the key from the barrel to allow lock (1a) to lower and insert the barrel with key in seat (1b). - Fit the retaining ring in the rear part of the switch barrel.- Turn the ignition key to MAR.- Fit the barrel in the ignition switch and fit the retaining tooth in the seat.- Extract the ignition key.- Check that the lock barrel is working.    Op. 5580E08 AERIAL FOR ELECTRONIC KEY (CODE) - R.R     Op. 7040A26 STEERING COLUMN TRIM - R+R - Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
