Op. 5580C AIR BAG SYSTEM - Disconnect the battery terminals.

Op. 7040A26 STEERING COLUMN TRIM - R+R Op. 5580C18 AIR BAG MODULE - R+R Op. 4110A10 STEERING WHEEL - R+R FOR REPLACEMENT OR CHECKS Op. 5550A10 STALK UNIT ASSEMBLY - R+R Op. 7040A23 INSTRUMENT PANEL FRAME IN DASHBOARD - R.R 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and partly extract the control panel (1b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a) and remove the control panel (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Connect the electrical connection(1a) for the control panel (1b).

- Position the control panel and tighten the fixing bolts. Several of the CAN nodes, including the instrument panel, are programmed with default settings that the customer will find when they acquire the vehicle. If the panel is replaced, the Parts Dept. will send a "pristine" component. once fitted, the data memorized in the Body Computer must be transferred to it by carrying out the "PROXY ALIGNMENT" procedure using the Examiner.
