Removing ( Refitting )

Before working on the body and reattachment of the front seat-belt pre-tensioner lumber fork thoroughly carry out the following preliminary operations:(1) put the ignition key in the STOP position and extract it;(2) disconnect the battery terminals and insulate;(3) wait for at least 10 minutes before continuing.

FOLLOW ALL THE RECOMMENDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

    Op. 5580C AIR BAG SYSTEM 1. Disconnect electrical connection (1a), undo bolt (1b) and remove Air Bag longitudinal deceleration sensor (1c).

Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Fit longitudinal deceleration sensor for Air Bag (1a) and tighten bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Secure the electrical connection.
