Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and extract it.Disconnect the battery leads and insulate them.Wait for at least 10 minutes before continuing.

Disconnect the electrical connections and the earth point for the Air Bag control unit.

- Remove the front buttons securing the carpet. 1. Cut the edge of the carpet under the handbrake.2. Release the carpet from the rear area - Remove the carpet towards the rear area. Refitting ( Removing )

If the carpet has to be replaced, the new carpet must be cut at the same point at which the carpet being replaced was cut.

- Place the carpet in position and secure it using the fixing buttons. 1. Connect the electrical connections and the earth point for the Air Bag control unit.
