the intervention of the FUEL CUT-OFF function (following an impact), cuts off the fuel supply, signals the intervention on the instrument panel active matrix and switches on the hazard warning lights

1Fuel supply restoration

To restore the correct operation of the fuel pump the following procedure must be followed using the steering wheel interface direction indicators control lever:

  • Panel key to OFF (starting condition)
  • Panel key to ON
  • Activate the right-hand indicator
  • Deactivate the right-hand indicator
  • Activate the left-hand indicator
  • Deactivate the left-hand indicator
  • Activate right-hand indicator
  • Deactivate the right-hand indicator
  • Activate the left-hand indicator
  • Deactivate the left-hand indicator
  • Panel key to OFF
If after this procedure the supply is not restored, use an Examiner set to CAN Information to check for any control units with errors.Proceed as instructed by the diagnostic instrument if control units with errors are found		Restore the wiring between the steering wheel interface direction indicators control lever and the Body Computer.If the wiring is OK, replace the steering wheel interface    Op. 5550A10 STALK UNIT ASSEMBLY - R+R
