) 1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and remove the engine mounting bracket (1b).2. Undo the fixing nuts on the exhaust manifold.3. Undo the catalytic converter retaining nuts.4. Undo the fixing bolts (4a) and remove the heat shield (4b) from its seat.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Place the heat partition (1a) in position and tighten the fixing bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Tighten the nuts fixing the catalytic preconverter to the recommended torque.

3. Tighten the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold to the recommended torque.
