Removing ( Refitting ) - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

    Op. 5550D16 THIRD BRAKE LIGHT - R+R     Op. 5050C34 REAR WIPER ARM WITH BLADE - R+R     Op. 7015A04 TAILGATE INTERIOR PANEL - R+R     Op. 5050C42 REAR WIPER MOTOR - R+R 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the heated rear windscreen.- Carry out the same operation for the remaining side.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the number plate lights unit.

1. Disconnect the rear windscreen washer jet pipe.- Release the tailgate electrical wiring by releasing it from the retaining clips.2. Remove the electrical wiring from its housing, withdrawing it via the slot on the tailgate.

Support the tailgate before carrying out the operation described below.

1. Release the retaining clip using a screwdriver (without removing it).2. Disconnect the telescopic strut, tailgate side.- Carry out the same operation for the remaining telescopic strut. 1. Undo the bolts on the hinge and, with the help of a second mechanic, remove the tailgate. Refitting ( Removing ) - Position the tailgate and screw in the hinge retaining bolts without tightening them.- Adjust and align the tailgate.    Op. 7015A14 TAILGATE - ADJUST CENTRING AND PROFILE - INCLUDES HINGE AND COMPARTMENT SEAL ADAPTATION - Refit the telescopic strut, press fitting the ends in the securing pin.- Fit the retaining clip.- Carry out the same operation for the remaining telescopic strut.- Connect the rear windscreen washer jet pipe.- Position the electrical wiring in its housing and connect it to the retaining clips. 1. Connect the electrical connection for the number plate lights unit.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the heated rear windscreen.- Carry out the same operation for the remaining side.
