The adjustment of the parking brake should only be carried out after having replaced:- rear brake pads;- rear brake shoes;- rear brake cylinder;- cable assemblies;because the clearance due to wear is recovered automatically.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7040L22 REAR COVER ON TUNNEL - R.R. 1. Mark the position of the nut (1a), then loosen the handbrake cable adjustment nut by at least two or three turns to ensure the cables (1b) are completely slack.
