1. Use a jigsaw following the cutting lines shown in the diagram.
- Work in the rear zone of the rear wheel compartment.- Use a rotary brush to remove the paint and gain access to the spot welds1. Use the drill to chamfer the spot welds shown in the diagram.- Use a hammer and chisel to remove the previously chamfered spot welds and remove the side member part.
- Straighten the edges of the vehicle using a hammer and dolly block.- Remove the spot weld residues using a disc grinder.- Use a rotary brush to clean the previously treated areas.1. Apply electro-weldable paint in the areas shown in the diagram.

1. Use the jig saw following the cutting lines shown in the diagram to cut from the spare part a section the same length as the previously removed part.
1. Remove the anti-corrosion treatment from the area shown in the diagram with a rotary brush.- Apply electroweldable paint to the areas involved.
1. Position the replacement part correctly on the vehicle and secure it using self-locking clamps.- Check the alignment.2. Carry out the seam welding in the indicated area, using the MIG welder
