Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 0010T40 CHANGE MANUAL GEARBOX OIL - Carry out the following operations for the left side:    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R     Op. 4410D22 BRACKET FIXING FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER TO BODYSHELL (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R. - Carry out the following operations for the right side:    Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL - R.R - Carry out the following operations for the removal of the driveshaft, left or right: 1. Remove the staking from the nut fixing the wheel hub.
1. Undo the nut (1b) fixing the wheel hub using the tool (1a).

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the wheel rpm sensor (1b) from its seat.
1. Undo the bolts securing the wheel hub to the wheel strut.
1. Release the steering rod (1b) from the wheel hub (1c) using the tool (1a).

1. Release the driveshaft from the housing in the gearbox using the special tool on the sliding joint.
- Position the driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws. 1. Remove the boot retaining bands and retract it.2. Remove the circlip (2a) and the release the constant velocity joint (2b).3. Remove the protective boot.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Wash the constant velocity joint components thoroughly and visually inspect that there are no signs of seizing or grooves on the balls or seats.- Position the new protective boot on the driveshaft.- Place the constant velocity joint back in its housing and secure it using the circlip.- Place the protective boot in position, then fill it with the recommended grease.

- Fasten the protective boot using the new bands.- Fit the driveshaft in place on the gearbox.- Fit the steering rod to the wheel hub. 1. Tighten the nut fixing the steering track rod end to the wheel hub to the recommended torque.

- Place the wheel rpm sensor in position and tighten the fixing bolt. 1. Pre-tighten the nut (1b) fixing the wheel hub to the recommended torque using the tool (1a).
