312000963 - E3050 FRONT ELECTRIC WINDOWS - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The front electric window system is managed by controls on the driver''s panel H042 and passenger side H043.Both are connected, at pin 3, to the left dashboard earth C015 and, depending on the pressure exerted, they provide the signals for the Body Computer M001 (connector D). Specifically:
to pin 8, for raising the driver''s window;
to pin 13, for lowering the driver''s window;
to pin 14, for raising the passenger side window;
to pin 15, for lowering the passenger side window.
On the basis of the signal received the Body Computer M001 (through the combination of the two dedicated relays inside) operates the driver''s electric window motor N060 and the passenger side one N061 respectively from pins 1-19 and 17-18 of connector C; these lines are protected by fuses F47 and F48 of the actual Body Computer.The Body Computer M001 receives a direct battery power supply (pin 1 of connector A) protected by fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 18 of connector B); it also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E.The Body Computer M001 receives the ignition-controlled supply (INT/A), at pin 1 of connector E, which excludes the electric windows system during starting.The Body Computer M001 is also connected to the driver''s dashboard earth C015 via pins 9 and 10 of connector E.
