REAR WING LOWER FRAME - Ensure that the components connected are not distorted by checking the body alignment measurements with suitable equipment (reference rigs, templates or gauges).- Straighten the body as necessary.
- Use a rotary brush to remove the paint and gain access to the spot welds.
1. Use the drill to chamfer the spot welds shown in the diagram.- Use a hammer and chisel to remove the previously chamfered spot welds.

1. Working from inside the vehicle, straighten the tab securing the rear crossmember to the pillar.

1. Straighten the edges of the panel.- Remove the spot weld residues using a disc grinder.- Correct any distortions to the panel using a mallet and dolly block.- Apply electro-weldable paint along the edges of the body to be welded.

1. Drill out the part at the indicated points.
1. Remove the anti-corrosion treatment from the inside perimeter of the spare part shown in the diagram using a rotary brush.- Apply the electro-galvanizing paint to the edges in contact with the vehicle.
1. Position the replacement part correctly on the body and secure it using self-locking clamps.- Check that it is perfectly positioned and aligned.2. Working from inside the vehicle, fold down the tab securing the rear crossmember to the pillar.
1. Use a spot welder to weld the areas shown in the diagram.- Correct any distortions to the panel using a mallet and dolly block.

- Work on the lower, internal part of the rear pillar.
1. Use a seam welder to fill-weld the areas shown in the diagram.
- Work on the internal part of the rear pillar.
