Removing ( Refitting )

Before removing and refitting the pretensioner for the lumbar branch of the front seat belt, the following preliminary operations must be carried out:(1) turn the ignition key to the OFF position and extract it;(2) disconnect the battery terminals and insulate them;(3) wait for at least 10 minutes before continuing.

Detach the side bag sensor electrical connection.

2. Undo the fixing nut (2a) and remove the side Air Bag sensor (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the Side Bag sensor is not damaged. 1. Position the sensor (1a) and tighten the nut (1b) to the recommended torque.2. Connect the electrical connection for the sensor.
