312002557 - 7025A10 BONNET LID - ALIGNMENT

Visually inspect for any irregularities in the opening between the bonnet and the front wings, and between the bonnet lid and the bumper.

- To adjust the bonnet lid in a longitudinal direction and to adjust its rake, adjust the bolts securing the hinges to the body. 1. Loosen retaining bolts (1a), body side, of bonnet lid hinge (1b). - Adjust the bonnet lid longitudinal position and rake from inside the engine compartment ring using the slotted body side hinge bolt holes.

To adjust the bonnet lid more accurately and quickly, work on one hinge at a time.

1. When the adjustment is complete, tighten bolts (1a) securing body side hinge (1b) to the recommended torque.

- To adjust the position of the bonnet inside the engine compartment, adjust the hinge bolts, bonnet lid side. 1. Loosen retaining bolts (1a), bonnet side, of bonnet lid hinge (1b). - Adjust the position inside the engine compartment ring using the slots of the routing holes for the bonnet lid side hinge bolts.

1. When the adjustment is complete, tighten hinge (1b) bolts (1a), bonnet lid side, to the recommended torque.
