- Wear protective gloves and goggles.- Place suitable protection over the edges and the windscreen to protect the paintwork and the windscreen seal. 1. Cut layer of sealant along the dotted line using an electric cutter with a short blade.
1. Lift the outer edge at the corners and cut the sealant layer using a piano wire.

1. Position spacers (1a) to hold sliding roof (1b) up at an angle to allow access with an long blade electric cutter.2. Working exclusively on the vehicle frame, raise the front edge of the sun roof.

1. Remove the sun roof.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Clean the passenger compartment and the parts involved.- Remove the protection from the paintwork and the windscreen.- Check that there are no scratches on the paintwork. If necessary, apply a protective anti-rust layer.- Clean with compressed air jets and degrease the contact surface on the sun roof housing with heptane.- Extrude a triangular shaped strip of sealant 8 mm long and 14 mm wide max to the triangular profile along the contact surface. 1. Apply the sucker handles suction pads.2. Lift the roof with the front ceiling panel and clear section and position in its seat, ensuring that it is centred correctly.3. Place suitable protection on the glass and compress the roof with straps.
- Check that the front glass profile is lowered into the roof panel when the belts are under traction. 1. Secure the electrical connection.
