Removing ( Refitting )
Before removing and refitting the Air Bag module the following preliminary operations must be carried out.Position the vehicle with the front wheels straight.Turn the ignition key to the STOP position and extract it.Disconnect the battery terminals and insulate them.Wait for 10 minutes before continuing.
FOLLOW ALL THE RECOMMENDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
    Op. 5580C AIR BAG SYSTEM     Op. 7045A10 FRONT SEAT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7045B10 FRONT SEAT HEAD RESTRAINT, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. 1. Prise up cover (1a) base and disconnect backrest cushion cover clips (1b).2. Cut the backrest cushion cover retaining rings.
1. Release the retaining band from the side Air Bag.
- Raise the cover to gain access to the front seat backrest springs. 1. Release handles (1a) from the structure and remove the springs from backrest (1b).
Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit the spring and connect the handles to the structure.- Connect the side Air Bag retaining band.- Fit the cover and use the calliper to crimp the new clips in the join between the cover and the padding.

- Attach the cover handles.- Mould the cover to the padding, making sure that the fabric is taut and there are no wrinkles.    Op. 7045B10 FRONT SEAT HEAD RESTRAINT, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7045A10 FRONT SEAT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. - Connect the battery terminals.
