Engine management control unit M010 controls and governs the entire electronic ignition and injection system. The ignition-operated power supply (15/54) arrives via a line protected by fuse F16 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 at pin 23 of connector B of M010 .The direct battery power supply arrives via a line protected by fuse F18 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 at pin 50 of connector B of M010 .Pins 1, 2 and 3 of connector B of M010 are earthed. Another injection control unit earth C060 is connected to the case of the same control unit (connector C).The main relay T09 of B001 controls the entire system: the coil receives a power supply from the line protected by fuse F18 of engine compartment juntion unit B001 and is energized by a control signal (earth) from pin 80 of connector B of control unit M010 and thus sends a power supply:- to pin 5 of connector B of the control unit (primary loads power supply), via the line protected by fuse F17 of B001 ;- to pins 4 and 6 of connector B of the actual control unit (injector supply), via the line protected by fuse F22 of B001;- to the Lambda sensor K040, to the heater plugs control unit M015 (pin 3 of connector B), to the EGR solenoid L030 and to the turbine variable geometry control solenoid L036 and to pin 5 of connector A of control unit M010, via the line protected by fuse F11 of B001.The fuel pump relay T10 of B001 is supplied by the line protected by fuse F21 of B001. The coil for relay T10 is connected to the contact board at the negative battery pole A001 (connector E); it provides the power supply for the electric fuel pump N040, which is earthed via the inertia switch I050, which interrupts the circuit in the case of an impact and stops the dangerous supply of fuel, by means of a (positive) signal coming from pin 85 of connector B of control unit M010..Control unit M015 that manages preheating of the heater plugs A040 is supplied - connector A - directly from the battery via a line protected by fuse F00 of control unit B001.It exchanges command and control signals with pins 70 and 74 of connector B of M010 and controls the timing. Connector C is connected to the heater plugs A040.The engine management control unit M010 receives signals from the various sensors in order to control all engine service parameters. The rpm sensor K046 provides engine rpm information via a frequency signal sent to pins 43 and 59 of connector A of control unit M010.Timing sensor K047 is supplied from pin 25 of connector A of M010 . It receives a reference earth from pin 61 of connector B of M010 and sends a fuel temperature signal to pin 13.The supercharging sensor K082 measures the pressure and the temperature in the intake chamber, downstream of the turbocharger. This is supplied by pin 23 of connector A of M010 and receives a reference earth from pin 24 of connector A. A signal corresponding to the pressure level is sent to pin 41 of connector A of the control unit, the signal corresponding to the temperature is sent to pin 37 of connector A.Fuel pressure sensor K083 supplies the injection control unit with a feedback signal to modulate injection pressure and duration. It receives power and a reference earth from pins 8 and 6 of connector B of M010 ; it then sends a pressure signal to pin 38.Lambda sensor K040 sends signals to pins 44, 46 and 47 of connector B of M010 while pin 45 supplies a reference earth. Sensor K040 is heated by a coil to ensure efficient operation even when cold. The coil is supplied by the line for fuse F11 of B001 and receives an earth signal from pin 12 of connector B of control unit M010.The fuel pressure regulator on the pump N077 controls the high pressure produced by the actual pump; the two control signals come from pins 4 and 20 of connector A of control unit M010.EGR solenoid L030 controls exhaust gas recirculation. It is supplied by a line protected by fuse F11 of B001 and is controlled by a signal from pin 15 connector A of M010.The turbine variable geometry solenoid valve L036 regulates the operation of the turbine depending on the engine load: it is supplied by the line for fuse F11 of B001 and is controlled by a signal from pin 30 of connector A of M010.The engine management control unit sends the command to the injectors N070 from pins 16-47, 17-49, 31-48, 1-46 of connectorA of M010 for cylinders 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively.Pin 92 of connector B of M010 receives the signal coming from the brake lights switch I030 - N.C. contact - with an ignition-controlled supply (INT) from fuse F35 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002; it receives the signal - N.A. contact - coming from the brake lights switch I030 with an ignition-controlled supply (INT) from fuse F37 of junction unit B002.Pin 93 of connector B of M010 receives the signal coming from the clutch switch I031.The control unit M10 receives - at pin 9 of connector A - a signal from the minimum engine oil pressure sensor K030.The water in diesel filter sensor built into filter K101 receives an ignition-operated supply from fuse F37 of control unit B002 and sends a corresponding signal to pin 90 of connector B of M010.
