Removing ( Refitting )     Op. 7040L42 FRONT DOOR RUNNING BOARD CONNECTOR (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.     Op. 7025A24 BONNET LID OPENING LEVER - R+R     Op. 7025A34 BONNET LID LOCK (ONE) - R+R OR REPAIR - Open the bonnet lid.1. Release the control cable from clip (1a) and from mount (1b).2. Connect a probe to the inner end of the control cable. This operation is required to facilitate subsequent cable re-insertion.3. Withdraw the cable from the engine compartment side and leave the probe in place. Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the control cable is not damaged.

WARNING: The bowden cables used to control bonnet opening must not be kinked to the extent that permanent deformation is caused, which could prevent the wire running smoothly through the sheath. If this occurs, replace the above assemblies.

- Refit the control cable by inserting from the engine compartment and using the probe.

WARNING: Fit the bowden cable, taking great care to lay it and fasten it so that the radius of curvature is not less than the minimum specified in the drawing.

- Remove the probe from the inner end of the cable.- Connect the link to both retainers near the lock.- Reposition the control cable in the mount and do up the clip.    Op. 7025A34 BONNET LID LOCK (ONE) - R+R OR REPAIR     Op. 7025A24 BONNET LID OPENING LEVER - R+R     Op. 7040L42 FRONT DOOR RUNNING BOARD CONNECTOR (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. - Check that the bonnet opens and closes properly.
