The braking system is the hydraulic servo-assisted type comprising two independent crossover circuits that allow both sides of the vehicle to brake even if one circuit fails. Each circuit acts on one front wheel and the diagonally opposed rear wheel.All versions are fitted with a 10" brake servo.Versions without ABS are fitted with a variable load proportioning valve fastened to the body at the rear (as illustrated in the diagram below).
The entire range is equipped with:- ventilated brake discs on the front wheels;- drums on the rear wheels- ABS with EBD (except for certain markets)ESP may be an option on some versions.The brake callipers are Bosch.
