Removing ( Refitting )     Op. 1040A70 SUBMERGED PUMP ASSEMBLY COMPLETE WITH LEVEL GAUGE CONTROL - R + R 1. Release sensor (1a) from retaining tabs (1b), applying pressure towards the inside, then lift it up and remove it from the pump drip tray complete with float. 1. Press retaining tabs (1a) and remove electrical connection pins 1 and 3 (1b).

If the sensor is being reused, mark the position of the two electrical connecting pins on the sensor.

Refitting ( Removing ) - Adjust the retaining tabs and connect the two electrical connection pins.

For the correct electrical connection never use the seat for pin 2 (centre position).

- Position the sensor, complete with float in its housing and secure it to the pump drip tray using the retaining tabs.

During the operation of fitting the sensor, take care not to damage the electrical connection pins.
