The Body Computer is responsible for opening the boot via relay T13 located in the junction unit under the dashboard B002. The line is protected by fuse F45 of B002.The energizing of the coil for relay T13 is controlled by the Body Computer M001. The boot opening relay J056 (pin 5) activates the boot lock geared motor N057 (pin 1) as a result.Later on the N.C. contact for N057 opens signalling the opening of the boot: this signal reaches the Body Computer (pin 33 of connector A) from pin 4 of N057. At the same time the N.A. contact for N057 closes and the boot light G040 comes on via pin 5. See E2520 GLOVE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - SUN VISOR LIGHTThe boot opening command coming from the button in the centre dashboard control panel H090 (pin 9) reaches pin 22 of connector A of the Body Computer. Pin 5 of H090 receives a reference earth via the line from pin 36 of connector A of the Body Computer M001.The boot opening command from the remote control via the RF aerial P093 arrives via the signal supplied to pin 43 of connector D of M001. Aerial P093 is earthed via the line from pin 30 of connector D of the actual Body Computer. The Body Computer receives a power supply from the battery, via the line protected by fuse F1 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001. It also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) from the ignition switch H001. The reference earth reaches pins 10 and 19 of connector A of M001.
