FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The climate control system control unit M070 receives a power supply at pin 30 from the battery via the line protected by fuse F39 located in the junction unit under the dashboard B002 and via the line from the Body Computer M001. Pin 39 also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) from the line protected by fuse F51 located in the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The control unit M070 receives the reference earth at pin 40.The climate control system control unit M070 is connected, from pins 1 and 2 to pins 35 and 36 of connector D of M001 via the CAN to converse with the Body Computer and with the other network nodes. The solar sensor K090 receives a power supply from pin 7 of the climate control system control unit. The signal containing information on the sun''s rays leaves K090 (pin 3) and reaches pin 10 of M070.The lower and upper air distribution temperature sensors K113 and K112 receive a reference earth from pin 11 of M070 and send their signals to pins 9 and 20 respectively of the actual control unit. The climate control system control unit M070 supplies the mixture actuator N078, distribution actuator N113 and air recirculation actuator N082 from pin 38.The air mixture actuator N078 is controlled by the climate control system control unit M070 from pins 25, 26, 35, and 36.The air distribution actuator N113 is controlled by the climate control system control unit M070 from pins 23, 24, 34, and 33.The air recirculation actuator N082 is controlled by the climate control system control unit M070 from pins 21, 22, 31, and 32.The fan N085 (pin 3) connected to the air conditioning earth C016 receives a supply from the line protected by fuse F08 and operated by relay T08 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001: the coil T08 is supplied by the ignition-controlled line excluded during starting (INT/A) protected by fuse F31 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The control lunit M070 (pin 5) sends a control signal to the fan N085 (pin 2) whilst the latter sends a feedback signal from pin 1 relating to its operation to pin 29 of M070.The sensor which measures the outside temperature is located on the passenger door mirror P061. The sensor receives a reference earth from pin 3 of connector B of the Body Computer M001 and sends a signal to pin 2 of the same connector; the Body Computer M001 forwards this signal, via the CAN, to the climate control system control unit M070 and to the instrument panel E050.The Body Computer receives a power supply from the battery, via the line protected by fuse F1 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001. It also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) from the ignition switch H001. The reference earth reaches pins 10 and 19 of connector A of M001.
