FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The EOBD central diagnostic socket is built into the Body Computer M001 connector C.The socket receives a direct power supply from the battery at pin 16 from the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002. The reference earth for the Body Computer reaches pins 4 and 5 of connector C.Pin 1 of the autodiagnostic connector is connected, via the line from pin 22 of connector D of the junction unit under the dashboard, to pin 17 of the ABS/ESP control unit M050.Pin 7 of the autodiagnostic connector is connected, via pin 26 of connector D of B002, to the engine management control unit M010 (pin 88 of connector B for the 1.3 MJet version; pin 10 of connector B for the 1.4 8v version; pin 91 of connector B for the 1.4 16v TJet version) and to the robotized gearbox control unit M054 (pin 21 of connector A), if present.Pins 6 and 14 of the autodiagnostic connector are connected to the B-CAN; this network controls and "diagnoses" the instrument panel E050, the radio P020, the climate control system control unit M070, the Air Bag control unit M060 and the parking sensor control unit M084.    See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES
