Removing ( Refitting )
Follow the recommended safety instructions.    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS
- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant.    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE     Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER     Op. 1048B50 SUPERCHARGING AIR-AIR HEAT EXCHANGER - R.R.1. Undo bolt (1a) and disconnect connector (1b) for the pipe from condenser (1c).
Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.
1. Undo the four bolts.2. Keep the condenser.
- If necessary, remove the drier filter.    Op. 5040A44 AIR CONDITIONING DRIER FILTER/ACCUMULATOR - R+R Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the condenser is intact and does not show signs of damage or deposits of dirt on the finned surface.- If removed, refit the drier filter.    Op. 5040A44 AIR CONDITIONING DRIER FILTER/ACCUMULATOR - R+R
Replace the O-rings on the connectors.
Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.
Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.
- Position the condenser in its housing.- Tighten the condenser retaining bolts.1. Connect the pipe connector (1a) to the condenser (1b) and secure it by tightening the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque.
