Power supply check
- Turn the ignition key ON.- Connect the positive probe of the Examiner in voltmeter mode to terminal 3 of the sensor and the negative probe to terminal 1 of the earth.- With the ignition on, check that the voltage measured is around 5 Volts.
Signal check
- Connect the positive probe of the Examiner in voltmeter mode to terminal 2 of the sensor and the negative probe to terminal 1 of the earth.- Start the engine and check for the presence of a voltage signal whose value is directly proportional to the fuel pressure as illustrated in the graph.
