Rpm signal

Rpm signal check

- Disconnect the connector for the engine control unit side rpm sensor.- With the Examiner in voltmeter mode, connect the probes to the rpm sensor pins using the dedicated interface.- With the engine in the starting stage at around 400 rpm, check that the rpm signal is:- Vp neg < / = - 500 mV.- Vp pos > / = 1200 mVIf the above values are not obtined, check that the flywheel and the rpm sensor are correctly positioned and intact.
Frequency signal reading on flywheel. If the above values are not obtined, check that the flywheel and the rpm sensor are correctly positioned and intact.
