323002773 - 2127OA CHECK ON OPERATION OF CLUTCH DISC SPEED SENSOR THROUGH ROAD TEST (Robotized gearbox)

STEPCHECK TO BE PERFORMEDREMEDIAL ACTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1Road test to check gearbox main shaft speed sensorConnect the Examiner diagnostic equipment. In “Parameter” mode display: engine rpm and clutch speedStart the engine and place the gearbox in neutralCheck that the gearbox main shaft corner piece speed is zeroWith a gear engaged and the engine at idle check that the main shaft corner piece speed is not greater than zero (if it is more than zero the clutch is driven)Carry out with Examiner in "Configuration/Procedure" modeClutch autocalibration enablementIf the clutch plate speed is higher than zero again after carrying out the above procedure, proceed to step 2.If the fault persistsMove on to Step 2
2Checking the gearbox main shaft speed sensorCheck the continuity of the wiring between the sensor and the gearbox control unit    See E7051 ROBOTIZED GEARBOX Check that the sensor resistance value is between 900 Ohm ± 10%Restore the wiring between the sensor and the gearbox control unitReplace the main shaft speed sensor    Op. 2127E52 HYDRAULIC SELECTION GEARBOX INPUT SHAFT SPEED SENSOR - R.R. If the fault persistsMove on to Step 3
3Replacing the gearbox control unitReplace the gearbox control unit    Op. 2127E10 HYDRAULIC SPEED SELECTION SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT - R.R. and check it is working correctlyThe fault persistsMove on to Step 4
4Checking the clutch kit operationCheck that the clutch mechanism is working correctlyReplace the clutch kit    Op. 1810A24 CLUTCH - R + R WITH GEARBOX REMOVED
5Correct operation checkConnect the Examiner diagnostic equipment. In “Parameter” mode display: engine rpm and clutch speedWith the engine at idleSelect first gearAccelerate and check that the clutch plate corner piece is not at zero (clutch driven condition)Carry out a road test at a constant speed without gear changes.Whilst driving, observe the two parameter selectedCheck that there are not any significant fluctuations/differences of the clutch rpm signal compared with the engine rpm
