The function is managed, in the main, by the Body Computer M001 and by the robotized gearbox control unit M054.The exchange of the D+ signal between the Body Computer M001 and the alternator A010 takes place along the line that leaves pin 25 of connector D of M001 and reaches connector B of A010.The Body Computer receives a power supply from the battery, via the line protected by fuse F1 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001. It also receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) from the ignition switch H001. The reference earth reaches pins 10 and 19 of connector A of M001.The Body Computer M001 also converses via the CAN with the instrument panel E050 to manage the turning on of the dedicated warning light and to converse with the other network nodes. The ignition switch H001 receives a power supply from the battery at pin 2 of connector A via the line protected by fuse F3 located in B001. The ignition switch H001 then sends the activation signal for the starter motor (if the key is turned to the extreme starting position AVV) from pin 3 of connector A, to the robotized gearbox control unit M054 (pin 1 of connector A) and to the relay T20 of the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 15 of connector A).The ignition-controlled power supply (15/54) provided by the ignition switch H001 (pin 1 of connector A) reaches the coil for relay T20 of B001 and pin 10 of connector A of M054 along the line protected by fuse F16 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.The robotized gearbox control unit receives the brake pedal I030 pressed signal at pin 9 of connector A. The brake pedal I030 N.A. contact receives an ignition-controlled supply (INT) from fuse F37 in the junction unit under the dashboard B002 (pin 14 of the connector). If all the starting enablement conditions are met, the control unit M054 (pin 14 of connector A) sends a dedicated earth signal which energizes relay T20 (pin 14 of connector A of B001) thereby allowing the activation of the starter motor A020 (50, connector C).The starter motor A020 (30, connector A) receives a power supply from the battery A001 (connector B). The direct current produced by the alternator A010 (B+, connector A) is sent along the line which connects connector A of A010 with connector B of A020.
